Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Front Desk Agent at Residence Inn Birmingham Downtown at UAB. You will warmly welcome guests, handle registrations, and provide local information while ensuring accurate billing and smooth check-in/check-out.

The role requires strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment with a focus on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to input information accurately using computer systems.
• Ability to manage cash handling and balance transactions.
• Able to handle busy/front-desk environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a warm, sincere welcome and assist with requests.
• Register guests by inputting and retrieving information from the property system.
• Explain local attractions and hotel amenities to guests.
• Process payments, handle cash and balance house accounts.
• Resolve guest concerns with calm, proactive problem solving.
• Assist with check-in/check-out procedures and guest communications.
