Job summary

21c Museum Hotels Louisville is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the face and voice of the hotel, welcoming guests and coordinating guest experiences. You will check guests in and out, respond to inquiries, manage reservations, and communicate hotel services with courtesy and professionalism.

The role requires fluency in English, strong cash handling skills, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a friendly and organized demeanor.

Qualifications

Must be fluent in English.
Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions, work on more than one task at a time, and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of cash handling procedures and computerized cash registers.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and complete check-in procedures using manual and computerized methods.
Respond to reservations and inquiries with accurate information and courteous service.
Process guest charges and ensure accurate hotel records at checkout.
Maintain knowledge of services and amenities to enhance guest experience.
Answer phones and assist with wake-up calls, messages, and guest requests.
Contribute to department communications and assist other staff as needed.
Ensure guest privacy and confidentiality and pass background checks.
