Job summary

Target in Woodland, CA is seeking a Guest Advocate to create a welcoming guest experience and support guests with a range of services from in-store assistance to digital tools. You will help guests understand promotions, loyalty programs, and how to use the Target App for Wallet, Order Pick-Up, and Drive Up.

The role involves friendly guest interactions, problem solving, and working with a team in a fast-paced retail environment. Training will cover service standards, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming guest experience by greeting guests and assisting with tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve their specific needs and explain product benefits.
• Inform guests about current promos, store activities and events.
• Know the tools, products and services to resolve issues and improve experiences.
• Explain and assist with Target Loyalty programs and sign-up.
• Efficiently scan and bag items, maintaining safety standards.
• Minimize guest wait times while maintaining accuracy.
• Educate guests on Target App features including Wallet, Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering.
• Assist with returns following store policies; collaborate with leadership as needed.
• Keep work areas clean and organized; stock supplies during open hours.
• Follow safety policies and report hazards.
