Greet, understand needs, educate on features, and close sales with confidence. Maintain a tidy, well-stocked floor, inform customers of promotions, and follow safety rules.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and a people person.
• Past retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment.
• Familiarity with cash register functions and basic math.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service using proper selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Greet customers, understand needs, educate on product features and benefits.
• Solve customer questions and transact sales using suggestive selling and effective closing.
• Maintain the floor: neat, organized, stocked, and properly labeled items.
• Inform customers about ongoing promotions and protect products on the floor.
• Follow safety regulations and report accidents or near misses.
