Job summary

Maman is hiring a Counter Server in Dallas to be the first friendly contact for guests and to maintain an inviting pastry display. You will provide warm, efficient service, process orders at the POS, and keep the counter clean and well-stocked.

The role requires strong customer service skills, a guest-first attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Weekend availability and teamwork are essential, with opportunities to grow within a fast-growing brand.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or hospitality experience with the ability to learn and retain menu items, ingredients, and allergy-related information.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindset.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as welcoming first point of contact, delivering a positive guest experience.
• Accurately process orders and payments with proper cash handling and order accuracy.
• Follow steps of service (Smile, Engage, Name, Thank You) in every interaction.
• Maintain the counter and pastry display, ensuring cleanliness and stock levels.
• Support baristas and BOH during peak times and assist with inventory tasks as needed.
• Communicate menu offerings clearly, including ingredients and allergy information.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
