Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Bellperson to assist guests with luggage during arrival and departure and to ensure a courteous and efficient stay. You will escort guests, explain hotel services, and handle luggage for groups while maintaining knowledge of local attractions and transport options.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; hospitality experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license if applicable.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of information.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with luggage upon arrival and departure.
• Escort guests to rooms and explain hotel services.
• Load and unload luggage carts and organize luggage for groups.
• Inspect rooms and ensure supplies are adequate.
• Deliver messages, flowers, laundry and packages to guestrooms.
• Provide information, maps and directions as required.
• Assist with room changes and guest requests.
• Maintain lists of local attractions and transportation options.
