Job summary

Kessler Hotels in Savannah is seeking a Communications Operator to ensure efficient communication within, to and from the property while delivering attentive, courteous service to guests and colleagues. In this role you will promptly answer calls, transfer lines accurately, record and relay messages, and manage wake‑up calls with precision.

You will support front desk, security and operations teams, handle paging and radio communications during emergencies, maintain a safe, welcoming work

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or hotel experience preferred.
• Flexible with long hours.
• Must communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Must multitask and prioritize duties.
• Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor.
• Maintain regular attendance per hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls promptly with a standard greeting.
• Transfer calls accurately to the correct extension.
• Record messages and relay information to guests.
• Input wake-up calls into the system and confirm times.
• Distribute information via paging and radios during emergencies.
• Assist front desk as needed.
• Support security, guest services, and operations teams.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
