Job summary

BRU Burger Bar - Carmel is hiring a Server to deliver excellent guest experiences in a fast-paced Front of House role in Carmel, IN. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and maintain a clean dining area with a focus on hospitality.

The position offers full-time or part-time hours with opportunities for advancement within Cunningham Restaurant Group. Prior serving experience is helpful, but training is provided, and tipping is part of compensation.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Greet guests warmly and assist with menu selections; provide detailed information about offerings; ensure prompt and courteous service.
• Order Management: Accurately take and input orders into the POS, verify accuracy, coordinate special requests with kitchen.
• Food and Beverage Service: Serve promptly, monitor guest needs, refill drinks, clear plates, provide condiments.
• Cleanliness and Organization: Set up/clear tables, maintain stocked dining area, assist with dishwashing.
• Teamwork: Coordinate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other servers; relay guest feedback.
• Upselling and Promotion: Promote daily specials and desserts; upsell items when appropriate.
• Compliance: Follow health/safety guidelines and company policies; handle transactions securely.
