Job summary

Village Ale House in Carmel, IN is seeking friendly servers to join our dining team. As a server, you will greet guests promptly, help maintain clean tables, take and ring in orders, highlight daily specials, and ensure smooth communication with the kitchen and staff.

Full-time employees are eligible for benefits. The role requires 19+ with liquor license, weekend brunch availability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication.
• Available to work Friday through Sunday Brunch shifts.
• Able to stand and walk for at least 4 hours per shift.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to manage money.
• Must be at least 19 years old and have obtained a liquor license.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests within five minutes of seating.
• Keep tables clean throughout guests' stay.
• Take food and beverage orders and highlighting specials of the day.
• Provide refills.
• Taking accurate and timely orders.
• Upsell any additions, when appropriate.
• Use our POS system to ring in orders.
• Communicate effectively with the Kitchen and support staff.
• Properly deliver checks and complete payments.
