Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality's Marriott Colorado Springs is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will be the face of the restaurant, guiding guests through the menu and collaborating with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in food service, knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits, and a warm, guest-focused personality. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of food service experience required; hotel restaurant or upscale dining a strong plus.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits; ability to make confident beverage recommendations.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Colorado.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active on your feet for the full duration of a shift.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant before each shift; ensure tables are clean, properly set, and guest-ready.
• Greet guests warmly and promptly as they arrive or move through the restaurant.
• Guide guests through their culinary journey with descriptive, enthusiastic menu selling.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of every item on the menu, including ingredients and allergens.
• Take orders accurately and confirm all special requests and dietary needs.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner; check guest satisfaction.
• Perform quality checks throughout the meal and anticipate needs before guests ask.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and fellow servers.
• Address guest concerns with patience, empathy, and a commitment to resolution.
• Maintain knowledge of the full beverage program including wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Present bills accurately and complete the experience on a high note.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area throughout the shift.
