Pyramid Global Hospitality's Marriott Colorado Springs is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences. You will be the face of the restaurant, guiding guests through the menu and collaborating with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in food service, knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits, and a warm, guest-focused personality. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of food service experience required; hotel restaurant or upscale dining a strong plus.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits; ability to make confident beverage recommendations.
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Colorado.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active on your feet for the full duration of a shift.
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the restaurant before each shift; ensure tables are clean, properly set, and guest-ready.
• Greet guests warmly and promptly as they arrive or move through the restaurant.
• Guide guests through their culinary journey with descriptive, enthusiastic menu selling.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of every item on the menu, including ingredients and allergens.
• Take orders accurately and confirm all special requests and dietary needs.
• Deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner; check guest satisfaction.
• Perform quality checks throughout the meal and anticipate needs before guests ask.
• Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and fellow servers.
• Address guest concerns with patience, empathy, and a commitment to resolution.
• Maintain knowledge of the full beverage program including wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Present bills accurately and complete the experience on a high note.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area throughout the shift.

About The Role

As a Restaurant Server, you are the face of our restaurant and the single most important variable in our guests' dining experience. From the moment guests are seated to the moment they sign their check, everything that happens at that table flows through you. You will need to know the menu deeply enough to guide guests through it with genuine enthusiasm, handle special requests without missing a beat, collaborate seamlessly with the kitchen and bar teams, and resolve concerns in a way that leaves guests walking out happier than they expected.

What You'll Be Doing

• Preparing the restaurant thoroughly before each shift, ensuring tables are clean, properly set, and guest-ready before the first cover arrives
• Greeting every guest warmly and promptly as they arrive or move through the restaurant
• Guiding guests through their culinary journey with descriptive, enthusiastic menu selling that helps them make choices they will genuinely enjoy
• Developing and maintaining deep knowledge of every item on the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and pairing recommendations
• Taking orders accurately, confirming all special requests and dietary needs without exception
• Delivering food and beverages in a timely and professional manner, checking in with guests to ensure everything meets their expectations
• Performing quality checks throughout the meal and anticipating needs before guests have to ask
• Working collaboratively and communicating clearly with kitchen staff, bar staff, and fellow servers
• Addressing guest concerns with patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to resolution
• Maintaining knowledge of the full beverage program including wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits

• Ability to carry trays and transport food and beverage items safely throughout service
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple tables simultaneously
• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business
• Professional appearance and demeanor consistent with the Marriott brand standards
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
