Job summary

The Westin Westminster is seeking a friendly, professional Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, check them in and out, and provide attentive service that sets a positive tone for their stay.

The ideal candidate has excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and a guest-focused mindset; Marriott brand experience qualifies for the $20.00 per hour starting rate, while others begin at $19.00.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk or guest service experience preferred.
• Marriott brand experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Marriott systems (LightSpeed, MARSHA, GXP) is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival and provide efficient, courteous check-in and check-out services.
• Accurately process reservations, room assignments, and guest requests using LightSpeed.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
• Utilize GXP to document guest requests and follow up to ensure completion.
• Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
• Accurately manage cash, credit card transactions, deposits, and room charges in compliance with hotel procedures.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Bell Services, and other departments to meet guest needs.
