Job summary

The Westin Westminster is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to greet guests and manage check-in/check-out with efficiency and warmth.

Candidates with Marriott brand experience may start at $20 per hour; those without Marriott experience start at $19 per hour. Proficiency with LightSpeed and Marriott systems is a strong plus; flexibility for shifts, including evenings and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Previous Front Desk or customer service experience preferred.
• Marriott brand experience strongly preferred.
• Candidates without Marriott brand experience start at $19 per hour.
• Experience with Marriott systems (LightSpeed, MARSHA, GXP) is a strong plus.
• Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and perform check-in/check-out with courtesy.
• Process reservations, room assignments, and guest requests using LightSpeed.
• Handle inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Document guest requests in GXP and follow up for completion.
• Provide information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
• Manage cash, cards, deposits, and charges per procedures.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Bell Services, and other departments.
• Monitor room availability and guest preferences during shifts.
• Maintain a clean, organized Front Desk area.
• Communicate important information to leadership and other shifts.
• Uphold Westin and Marriott brand standards.
