Job summary

Mesquite Entertainment is seeking a guest-focused server to provide professional, friendly, and efficient service to guests at our food service outlets. You will inform guests of specials, answer questions on menu items, take orders, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.

Responsibilities include upselling, accurate POS entry, bussing, and presenting checks while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor in a fast-paced casino setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be team oriented.
• Must be flexible, adaptable, and self-motivated.
• Must be able to follow procedures and work in a busy restaurant atmosphere.
• Must read, write, and communicate verbally in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current and accurate information regarding menu items (preparation, seasoning, ingredients, and plate presentation).
• Upsell appetizers, beverages, and desserts during order taking per service standards.
• Enter orders into POS system with accuracy for correct preparation.
• Deliver prepared food to guests and check on satisfaction at the table.
• Pre-bus tables and present checks for payment; collect payment when required.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
