Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a friendly Cashier to deliver Best of the WEST customer service. You will greet customers, process POS transactions, handle returns, and assist with finding solutions to meet needs.

You will help maintain a clean, well-stocked store, stock merchandise, and support daily store operations while adhering to company policies. Ability to lift and use store equipment is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.
• Ability to operate a POS system and handle cash/electronic transactions.
• Ability to lift/move/position merchandise as needed.
• Comfort with using store equipment following safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver Best of the WEST service throughout the shopping experience.
• Process purchases, returns, and exchanges accurately at the POS.
• Help stock and present merchandise; keep displays tidy and organized.
• Answer questions about products, pricing, promotions, and store locations.
