Cavender’s is hiring a Cashier to deliver Best of the WEST customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience in a Texas store. You will greet customers, handle POS transactions, and help customers with product questions while keeping shelves stocked and organized.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Accurately operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash/electronic transactions.
• Lift, move, and position merchandise throughout the shift.
• Read and understand basic instructions and follow them daily.
• Communicate clearly with customers and team members; maintain English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, process purchases, returns, and exchanges at the register.
• Answer questions, assist with locating products, and suggest add-on items.
• Stock, straighten displays, and ensure store floor is clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety policies and report concerns to management.
• Support merchandising updates, price changes, and other assigned tasks.
