Job summary

Cavender’s is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Cashier to deliver Best of the WEST service in Amarillo. You will greet shoppers, process purchases accurately, handle returns, and answer questions to help customers find solutions.

You will maintain a clean, organized sales floor, stock merchandise, assist with price changes and store tasks, and follow Cavender’s policies to support daily operations and a safe, welcoming shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Accurately operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash/electronic transactions.
• Able to lift/move merchandise and assist customers as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, engage with them, and thank them for their business.
• Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and other POS transactions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor; stock/display merchandise.
• Answer product, pricing, promotions, store locations, and inventory questions.
• Follow store policies and support daily store operations.
