General Hotels Corporation is seeking a Split Shift Bistro Attendant for Courtyard by Marriott in Muncie. The position requires working 4 days per week with shifts from 6am–10am and 5pm–10pm.

The role involves food preparation, serving guests, cash handling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a fast-paced hotel dining area. Prior hospitality or customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non‑verbal.
• Guest service‑oriented demeanor is required.
• Ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning and storing food.
• Prepare, cook, and serve food according to recipes and quality standards.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area, tables, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure highest levels of food safety.
• Engage with guests to take orders and process payments.
• Assist in Food and Beverage areas including bussing and table resetting.
