Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a part-time Guest Care Associate at our West Fargo, ND location. You will provide courteous in-person or phone-based guest service, assist with questions, and help with self-checkouts and transactions. Prior retail experience is preferred and strong communication skills are essential.

The role supports a busy store environment with safety and sanitation standards in place. You will operate cash registers, process transactions, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to operate cash register and assist with self-checkouts.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous guest service in person or by telephone; answer incoming calls to the retail store and direct calls to the appropriate department and assist with guest questions in store.
• Operate cash register to itemize customer purchases and assist guests with self-checkouts; handle a variety of products.
• Process financial transactions including cash, checks, credit cards, loyalty programs, and coupons; bag customer purchases.
• Maintain understanding of current store programs and product locations; communicate in-store specials and coupons to customers.
