Job summary

SpartanNash Family Fare in Bismarck, ND is seeking a part-time Retail Associate to deliver courteous customer service in-store and by phone, handle cash transactions, and assist guests at self-checkouts. You will maintain a clean department and follow safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous guest service in person or by telephone; answer calls and direct to the appropriate department.
• Process guest transactions including credits, refunds, money orders, and loyalty items per policy.
• Operate cash register and assist guests with self-checkouts; handle diverse product categories.
• Process cash, checks, cards, WIC, Food Stamps, coupons and vouchers; bag customer purchases.
• Maintain awareness of store programs, promotions, and product locations, and follow safety procedures.
