Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Part-time Guest Care Associate in Mandan, ND to provide courteous service in-store or by phone. You’ll handle transactions, assist guests with self-checkouts, and direct calls to the appropriate department.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and strong verbal, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills. The role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous guest service in person or by telephone; answer incoming calls to the retail store and direct calls to the appropriate department and assist with guest questions in store.
• Perform/process guest services transactions such as credits, over-rings, refunds, lottery ticket sales, money orders/transfers (Western Union), media related purchases, etc.
• Operate cash register to itemize customer purchases and assist guests with self-checkouts; handle a variety of products which may include dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef and pork products.
• Process financial transactions including, but not limited to; cash, checks, credit cards, food stamps, WIC, loyalty cards, gift certificates, rain checks, voids, and coupons; and bag customer purchases.
