Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Memphis and Shelby County health codes.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure with deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Reading skills to understand regulations, policies and procedures.
• Ability to stock as directed by manager/supervisor.
• Knowledge of restaurant stock and equipment.
• Ability to operate and maintain restaurant equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages (coffee, espresso drinks, teas).
• Clean or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment.
• Clean service or seating areas.
• Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment.
• Describe menu items to customers or suggest products.
• Order, receive, or stock supplies or retail products.
• Provide customers with product details (coffee blend or preparation descriptions).
• Receive and process guest payments.
• Serve prepared foods (muffins, biscotti, bagels).
• Other duties as assigned.
