Job summary

The Statler Hotel at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY is seeking a friendly Temporary Retail Assistant to greet guests, assist with luggage, valet cars, and provide directions and airport pickups. You will be the first point of contact, delivering a warm, memorable guest experience in a premier collegiate hospitality setting.

This hourly, on-site role requires a valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record; familiarity with guest services is preferred.

Qualifications

• Provide luggage assistance and handle guest belongings with care.
• Valet park guest cars and coordinate drop-offs/pickups as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival.
• Valet Park guest cars.
• Provide luggage assistance.
• Pick-up/Drop-off guests at the Ithaca Airport.
• Assist guests with directions and other requests.
• Setup, fill, and breakdown lobby beverages and apples.
• Ensure outdoor porte cochere area and lobby are free of debris and presentable.
