Job summary

Target is hiring a Guest Advocate to welcome guests, assist with questions, and help them discover the joy of shopping. You will learn and apply our service standards, work across in-store and digital touchpoints, and support loyalty enrollment while keeping the store clean and organized.

In this role you will interact with guests, demonstrate problem solving, and use tools like handheld scanners and the Target app to guide them through checkout, order pickup, and drive-up options.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks.
• Assist guests to solve their specific needs.
• Make guests aware of current promos and events.
• Know store tools, products, and services to improve guest experience.
• Explain Target Loyalty benefits and assist with signup.
• Scan and bag items accurately while following safety standards.
• Maintain fast guest service and minimize wait times.
• Explain Target App features and Wallet.
• Direct guests to Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, online ordering.
• Process returns following policies.
• Keep work area clean and stocked.
• Support guest services like OPU/Drive-Up with compliance.
• All other duties as needed.
