Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions in Dededo, Guam is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform maintenance, repair, and minor construction across Field Office Spaces, latrines, trailers, and GFP. Responsibilities include building systems repair, mold mitigation, preventive maintenance, and O&M support in line with the PWS.

Pay rate: 20.67/hr The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least two years in facilities maintenance, with the ability to operate carpentry and power tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years’ maintenance experience in facilities.
• Experience with general maintenance, repair, demolition, and minor construction.
• Knowledge of building systems: electrical, HVAC, fire protection, grounding, water distribution.
• Ability to follow preventive maintenance schedules and document activities.
• Safely operate general maintenance and carpentry tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor construction, repair, alteration, and demolition tasks across FOS and facilities.
• Install and repair structural components including finishes, roofing, doors.
• Support O&M tasks and preventive maintenance programs.
• Maintain interior/exterior finishes, roofing, foundations, and locks.
• Repair building systems including HVAC, electrical, water distribution.
• Respond to emergency work requests within one hour and complete urgent repairs quickly.
• Document repairs and assist with monthly O&M status reporting.
