Tlingit Haida Tribal Business Corporation (THTBC) is seeking a General Maintenance Worker in Guam to support base operations by performing general maintenance, repair, and upkeep of buildings, equipment, and facility systems.

The role requires hands-on experience across carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and related trades, plus reliability, safety compliance, and the ability to work varied shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years related maintenance experience.
• Strong English communication and teamwork skills.
• Eligible to access government worksites and pass screenings.
• Available for varied shifts including weekends/holidays.
• Valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs general maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and HVAC systems across a variety of basic trades.
• Repairs, replaces, and maintains fixtures and building components such as sinks, toilets, lighting, doors, and flooring.
• Patches and repairs walls; paint and perform routine building maintenance as needed.
• Conducts general maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repairs on equipment and HVAC units.
• Assists with Real Property Inventory and maintains facility information.
• Follows company policies, safety requirements, and applicable government regulations.
• Performs other duties to support base operations and mission requirements.
