Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions, LLC is seeking a General Maintenance Worker to perform daily HVAC maintenance, inspection, and repair across assigned facilities on site in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role includes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and safe operation of climate control systems.

The ideal candidate holds a GED, 2+ years of HVAC experience, Universal CFC certification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

High school graduate or GED.
Two years of HVAC service and maintenance experience.
Universal CFC certification.
Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
Familiarity with HVAC codes and safety standards.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Ability to troubleshoot HVAC equipment.
Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical work independently on equipment.
Utilize diagrams to locate failures.
Identify root causes of various types of mechanical failures
Complete all work tasks timely, accurately and completely.
Coordinate with other personnel to identify materials and parts.
Generate and submit outage requests.
Respond to emergency site maintenance.
Perform on-call and preventive maintenance duties.
Perform inventories and prepare material requisitions.
Operate company vehicles safely.
Perform duties such as file maintenance, workspace cleanup, maintain warehouse space and telephone answering.
Adheres to safety policies and SOPs.
Perform overtime as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
