The role combines office-based tasks with field activities and daily interactions with a multidisciplinary group of scientists and engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Ecology, or related natural resources field.
• Five to ten years of Guam experience.
• Understanding of natural resources and environmental permitting in the Marianas/coastal settings.
• Able to work in both office and field environments.
• Flexibility, adaptability and quick learning.

Responsibilities

• Flora and Fauna Surveys.
• Surveys for protected animals and plants (federal and territorial).
• Wetland delineations in tropical freshwater and estuarine environments.
• Interpretation of natural resources data and application to management of surveyed species.
• Natural resource field studies.
• NEPA support.
