Job summary

Office Depot is seeking a Marketing Manager - Retail/Direct to lead GTM strategy across retail, direct and local marketing. You will partner with merchandising, marketing, creative and store teams to bridge brand strategy with in-market execution and to drive traffic, sales and customer engagement.

You will oversee promotions, product launches, and campaigns, adapt to market trends, develop project plans with timelines, monitor progress, and report results to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Retail or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years progressive analytical and project management experience in merchandising/marketing.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to develop concise executive summaries and briefings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end merchandising product launches with marketing support.
• Develop monthly promotions aligned with strategic priorities.
• Collaborate with merchandising and marketing to identify key products and promotions.
• Communicate promotions in campaigns and handle ad hoc requests.
• Lead merchandising team through change and transition.
• Adapt to market trends and consumer demands.
• Develop project plans with timelines, milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor progress and report to stakeholders.
• Conduct post-launch analyses to assess success.
• Participate in business strategy meetings.
• Respond to ad-hoc information/analyses requests.
