Job summary

Okta’s GTM Compensation Strategy and Incentive Design team drives the design, implementation, and assessment of variable pay across all GTM roles to ensure alignment with business goals and ROI. In this Individual Contributor role, you will lead data-driven compensation initiatives, build analytics frameworks, and collaborate with Sales Ops, Finance, and HR to translate objectives into executable plans.

Qualifications

6+ years of progressive experience in sales compensation design, strategy, or analytics within public SaaS, software, or technology companies.
Deep expertise in sales compensation architecture, including territory management and account coverage models.
Advanced proficiency with systems like Salesforce, Anaplan, Xactly, and Workday.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize incentive compensation plans for GTM teams that align with company objectives and sales metrics.
Conduct compensation analyses and modeling to forecast plan costs and ROI.
Develop territory management and sales crediting frameworks that reflect performance across complex deals.
Collaborate with Sales Operations, Finance, and HR to implement changes and drive adoption.
Analyze sales performance data to identify trends and opportunities for plan refinements.
Partner with Sales leadership and Finance to develop executive presentations and business cases.
