GTM Automation Engineer — Revenue Ops Builder

Job summary

Versapay is seeking a GTM Engineer to reduce manual work in the revenue engine, speed responses to inbound demand, and run automated outbound plays for Sales and Marketing. You will design, build and maintain workflows and AI-enabled agents that connect GTM systems with Salesforce as the system of record.

This builder role sits in Revenue Operations and reports to the VP of Revenue Operations. You will own problems end to end, ship fixes, and measure impact such as hours saved and faster

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a technical GTM role at a B2B SaaS company.
• Deep working knowledge of Salesforce objects, fields and data relationships.
• Hands-on experience building production workflows in automation platforms (n8n, Workato, Make, Zapier or Tray).
• Comfort with REST APIs, webhooks, JSON and authentication.
• Working scripting skills in Python or JavaScript, and basic SQL.
• Experience using LLMs in workflows and evaluating when to use AI.
• Track record of shipping automations that saved time or improved conversion.
• Strong written documentation habits and maintainable designs.

Responsibilities

• Own the inbound path from form fill to first rep touch with minutes response time.
• Design and automate lead routing, qualification and account matching with SLAs.
• Build automated plays for Sales and Marketing based on signals (visits, engagements).
• Automate CRM hygiene: field completion, duplicates, and stage changes.
• Document every workflow and governance standards with the Salesforce admin team.
