Job summary

Clay is seeking a Software Engineer for GTM Engineering to solve operational problems with product thinking. As part of the GTM Engineering group, you will work with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to understand workflows and build software with immediate impact across the company.

You will ship internal products, create AI-native workflows, and partner with teams to identify high-leverage opportunities, owning projects from discovery to production in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience building production software.
• Fluent in TypeScript or Python and comfortable across the full stack.
• Experience building internal tools, workflow automation, or developer platforms.
• Built AI-powered applications using LLMs and modern AI tooling.
• Enjoy collaborating with end users and iterating quickly based on feedback.
• Think like a product builder with ownership and shipping bias.
• Thrives in fast-moving startup environments with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Build internal products that accelerate go-to-market teams.
• Own projects end-to-end from discovery to production.
• Partner with GTM teams to identify high-leverage opportunities.
• Build AI-native workflows using AI tooling.
• Design integrations with Salesforce, Snowflake, Slack, and APIs.
• Create tooling and platforms enabling rapid experimentation.
• Help define modern GTM Engineering in an AI-driven world.
