Job summary

Learning Care invites applications for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom in Michigan. You will assist a Lead Teacher with daily lesson planning, use approved curricula, and help observe and support children's development.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate degree or higher in ECE or CDA, with experience in preschool settings, and a commitment to licensing and GSRP requirements. This is a team-based, family-engaged role in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development or CDA credential with plan to complete an associate degree.
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements.
• Team player with a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum.
• Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools.
• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development.
