Job summary

Learning Care's Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) in Michigan is seeking a compassionate Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom for 4-year-old children as they prepare for kindergarten.

You’ll assist the Lead Teacher with daily lessons, observe and assess development, maintain a safe, engaging space, build relationships with families, and participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• CDA credential with plan to complete an associate degree.
• Experience with preschool-aged children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teacher in daily lessons using GSRP curriculum.
• Assist in observing and assessing children's development with approved tools.
• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
• Participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development.
