Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom for 4-year-olds in Michigan. You will assist the Lead Teacher with daily lessons, observe child development, and help maintain a safe, organized space while building strong relationships with families.

You’ll participate in family engagement activities and professional development, with credentials supported by tuition assistance, Master Teacher Program, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (Or a valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a plan to complete an associate degree)
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
• Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum
• Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools
• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development
