Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a compassionate GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom for 4-year-olds. You will assist the Lead Teacher with daily lessons, observe development, and foster a safe, organized environment that invites curiosity and family involvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development (or a CDA with plan to complete an associate degree).
• Experience with preschool-aged children preferred.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children.We’re looking for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.

As an Associate Teacher, you’ll:

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum
• Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools
• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development
