Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is seeking a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom for four-year-olds within Michigan's Great Start Readiness Program.

You will work alongside the Lead Teacher to plan and implement daily lessons using the approved GSRP curriculum. The role emphasizes observing and assessing children's development, maintaining a safe, engaging environment, building strong relationships with families, and participating in required professional development

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
• CDA credential with a plan to complete an associate degree.
• Experience with preschool-aged children preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using approved GSRP curriculum.
• Support observation and assessment of children’s development.

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children.We’re looking for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.

As an Associate Teacher, you’ll:

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum
• Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools
• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development

We’re seeking compassionate, curious, and committed educators who are eager to make a lasting impact. Candidates should bring:

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development
  (Or a valid Child Development Associate (CDA) credential with a plan to complete an associate degree)
• Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred
• Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements
