Job summary

Learning Care Group, Inc. is hiring a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based Pre-K classroom for 4-year-olds.

You will assist the Lead Teacher in planning daily lessons, observing development, and maintaining a safe and engaging learning space. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree or CDA with a plan to complete an associate degree, have experience with preschool children, and are committed to meeting licensing and program requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or CDA with plan to complete an associate degree.
• Experience with preschool-aged children preferred.
• Ability to meet state licensing and GSRP requirements.
• Team player with a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

The Great Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is Michigan's state-funded, nationally recognized, Pre-K program for 4-year-old children.We’re looking for a GSRP Associate Teacher to support a high-quality, play-based classroom that prepares children for kindergarten and beyond.

As an Associate Teacher, you’ll:

• Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing daily lessons using an approved GSRP curriculum
• Assist in observing and assessing children’s development using approved tools
• Help maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom
• Build positive relationships with children and families
• Participate in family engagement activities, staff meetings, and required professional development
