Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Prior GSOC or dispatch center experience is preferred.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Experience in a GSOC/dispatch environment is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to operate radio/telephone equipment or consoles.
• Strong executive-level communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to make decisions under time constraints in high-demand situations.
• Knowledge of current global events and geography.
• Ability to analyze and think critically in ambiguous circumstances.
• Ability to follow written policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day GSOC operations and ensure procedures are followed.
• Coordinate GSOC team activities during shifts and monitor security systems.
• Update Operator schedules and ensure coverage for openings or callouts.
• Ensure compliance with laws, client regulations, and SOPs.
• Conduct audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure training requirements are met and complete training checklists.
• Develop and enforce SOPs for GSOC operations.
• Oversee monitoring of security systems and intelligence feeds for compliance.
• Complete metrics for Operators to meet client standards.
• Troubleshoot issues with security applications and coordinate with system teams.
• Serve as primary incident response contact and coordinate with emergency services as needed.
• Document, analyze, and report all incidents.
