Job summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment in Culver City is seeking a GSOC Analyst to monitor global events and escalate incidents affecting SPE employees and operations. The role supports GSOC operations including fire/intrusion monitoring, dispatch, and crisis management coordination.

Responsibilities include producing risk assessments, incident briefings, and location tracking for talent and productions, with a focus on security and rapid response during the afternoon shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs, Business, Emergency Management, Political Science, Criminal Justice, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in intelligence, GSOC, emergency dispatch, or similar center.
• Ability to communicate effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Ability to type minimum 60 WPM entering data via radio/phone/alarm system.

Responsibilities

• Monitor global events (weather, security, geopolitical) and escalate incidents per GSOC protocols.
• Perform GSOC Operator duties: dispatch security, coordinate emergency response, monitor alarms and CCTV.
• Drive social media threat monitoring and notify on events impacting SPE operations, travelers, productions.
• Provide crisis-management briefings and respond to executive travel risk requests.
• Produce location/talent risk assessments, crime reports, and incident assessments.
• Curate global distribution lists, coordinates, and POC databases; track locations and alerts.
