Job summary

Global Guardian in McLean, VA is seeking a GSOC Analyst for a 100% in-person role within our Security Operations Center. This position supports security operations requests, client data management, international travel itineraries, and worldwide monitoring.

Position Overview

The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst will be responsible for security operations requests, managing client data, international travel itineraries, global beacon tracking devices, worldwide intelligence monitoring, and assisting clients under duress traveling overseas. The Security Analyst will report directly to the Operations Center Director and the VP of Operations. This is an Associate (Intermediate) Level position and 100% in person.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Build mission briefs based on client’s itinerary and required security posture.
• Coordinate and direct international security team members in support of clients under duress.
• Identify and prioritize emergency situations as they develop internationally.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse group of individuals, including C-Suite executives, support staff, international security operators, international law enforcement and international operation centers.
• Perform Operations Center functions such as responding to phone calls and emails, entering and updating client data, maintaining duty logs, updating and organizing company shared drive files and applications.
• Conduct regular client interface and account management related functions while delivering exceptional customer service.

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage GPS-based global tracking devices and platform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve possible technical issues of tracking devices and platform.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned including but not limited to assisting with marketing efforts and the creations of intelligence products.
• Provide support for aerial medical evacuations.
• Drive company cars for gas refills, cleaning, or assisting with ongoing Executive Protection (EP) missionsas needed.
• Respond to crisis-level events to facilitate emergency extractions and protection as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

• At least 1-2 years in a customer support/physical security environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail.
• Interest in executive protection, travel, and security services.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with large corporate clients and high net worth families and individual.
• Must possess strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Provide security posture recommendations for travelers.
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs.

Desired Qualifications:

• Working understanding of physical security and executive protection.
• Military Experience preferred, Veteran Friendly Organization.
• Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Political Science, or related field.
• Travel Experience.
• Bilingualism is a plus.

Position Type and Schedule

• This is afull-time, in-person position located in McLean, VA.
• Salaried, exempt professional.
• Shift schedule. Shift schedules of weekend only, weekend-night only, and weekday night only are available at this time.
• The GSOC operates 24/7.
• Salary Range: $60,000 to $75,000 annually, dependent upon experience.
