Job summary

Control Risks is seeking a GSOC Analyst to join our global security operations center, providing tactical intelligence on a 24/7/365 basis. The role covers a swing shift (Tue-Sat, 2:00 pm-11:00 pm CT) and requires coordination with stakeholders to guide crisis decisions.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a GSOC or risk assessment role, strong OSINT skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Hybrid work is supported; confidentiality and quick decision-making are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a Security Operations Center or Risk Assessment Center.
• Geopolitical awareness and knowledge of global events.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with OSINT techniques and open-source tools.

Responsibilities

• Identify geopolitical events impacting client employees, events, and facilities.
• Provide notifications to the Global Security Intelligence Team.
• Test and implement new tools and technology for the GSOC program.
• Receive incident reports and initiate notifications to response personnel.
• Assess security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
• Interact with employees, executives and contractors daily.
• Provide guidance and oversight of contract security staff onsite.
