Job summary

Smoky Mountain Smash in Gatlinburg Skypark is hiring a Food and Beverage Cook to prepare burgers, sides, and other items in a fast-paced setting. You will ensure high quality, proper presentation, and adherence to safety standards while collaborating with front-of-house staff.

The role requires a positive attitude, team orientation, and the ability to work under pressure in a hot kitchen environment. Previous cooking experience is preferred, with a TABC ABC card or the ability to obtain one

Qualifications

• ABC card from the TABC or ability to acquire within the first 30 days.
• Previous experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role preferred.
• Strong culinary skills with a focus on grill and fryer techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

• Health and Safety: Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, keeping a clean and organized workspace.
• Inventory Management: Assist in monitoring inventory levels, restocking supplies as needed, and minimizing waste.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff and front-of-house team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Customer Service: Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns or special requests.
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain kitchen equipment properly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.

Qualifications
