Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• 5-8 years of experience developing models/assemblies and creating drawings.
• Experience designing vibration fixtures and performing modal analysis.
• Experience designing fixtures with high pressures and wide temperature ranges.
• Experience with GSE, fixtures, tooling and/or structures in aerospace/spaceflight.
• Proficient in tolerances, GD&T analysis (ASME Y14.5).
• Experience in drawing generation, checking, and lifecycle release processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical integration of components, subsystems, and test articles (structural assemblies, harnesses, sensors, power distribution).
• Set up, operate, and maintain vacuum systems and related hardware.
• Work with high-voltage systems, power distribution, interlocks, and safety devices.
• Set up furnaces and thermal processing equipment, monitor parameters.
• Modify and rework experimental assemblies and provide feedback on manufacturability.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, and P&IDs; resolve documentation discrepancies.
• Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards; complete build records and test logs.
• Mentor junior technicians and coordinate across stakeholders.
