Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic in the United States to diagnose malfunctions and repair GSE. You will use drawings, diagrams, and publications to troubleshoot and document actions. Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a CBP Background Investigation Suitability clearance.
• High school graduate or have an equivalency certificate from an accredited program, is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid commercial driver's license with a HAZMAT endorsement.
• Must be proficient in Office software applications to communicate through e-mail and various software applications.; especially Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to meet required deadlines and maintain necessary workflow.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• The ability to read and write and comprehend/interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs on Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
• Analyze drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical publications to solve issues.
• Use diagnostic tools and data systems to monitor maintenance and document actions.
• Maintain external fuel and grounding systems.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and test equipment serviceability.
• Ensure safety, hazmat handling, tool control, and housekeeping.
