Amentum is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic to diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs on GSE. You will inspect, test, and operate equipment to ensure serviceability, while documenting actions and maintaining records.

The role requires handling hazardous materials safely and efficient use of test equipment. The position includes travel to support aircraft maintenance missions and adherence to safety and hazmat protocols.

Formación

• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to obtain CBP Background Investigation Suitability clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL with HazMat endorsement required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain workflow.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret data.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair less complex maintenance problems; inspect and approve actions.
• Use diagrams, schematics and tech pubs to solve repair problems.
• Monitor maintenance trends and document actions in data systems.
• Maintain external fuel and grounding systems and service GSE fluids.
• Disassemble and reassemble GSE components; perform corrosion protection.
• Handle hazardous materials and ensure safety and tool control.
• Provide dispatch support and move equipment to support operations.
• Travel periodically to support customers' missions.
