Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Ground Support Equipment Worker in the United States to assist a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic in repair and maintenance of GSE and related equipment. The role includes disassembly, cleaning, corrosion control, and reassembly, with certifications and licensing required to operate forklifts, tow tractors and customer equipment as needed.

The position requires reading maintenance publications, following safety policies, and maintaining a tool kit.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret maintenance publications and drawings.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Ground Support Equipment Mechanic in repair and maintenance of GSE and support equipment, including disassembly, cleaning, corrosion control and reassembly.
• Operate, inspect and test GSE to determine serviceability and proper operation; perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Maintain a toolbox with required minimum tools and obtain any necessary certifications/licensing to operate GSE such as forklifts and tow tractors.
• Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
