Job summary

Yahoo Sports seeks a Senior Director of Growth & Subscriptions to own growth and engagement across the full Yahoo Sports product portfolio, including Fantasy, Fandom & Community, Content, and future launches.

The role focuses on driving adoption, engagement, and the Yahoo Fantasy+ subscription business, with in-product onboarding, paywall optimization, and retention strategies. You will work closely with Marketing, Technology, Content & Editorial, and Business teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in product management or growth roles in consumer digital products.
• Proven track record driving engagement, adoption and retention across a portfolio.
• Experience operating a subscription or D2C business with revenue accountability.
• Strong command of in-product growth, onboarding flows and paywall mechanics.
• Ability to work with engineering as a peer and ask for what is needed and its cost.
• Strong analytical instincts with dashboards and cohort analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own growth and engagement across Yahoo Sports portfolio: Fantasy, Fandom & Community, Content, and new launches.
• Lead subscription growth for Yahoo Fantasy+ and future offerings, including onboarding and retention.
• Drive go-to-market alignment with Marketing and collaborate with Product, Engineering and Editorial.
• Develop and refine growth playbooks, onboarding, retention strategies, and feedback loops.
• Provide data-informed insights to leadership on engagement trends and subscription performance.
