Job summary

Examinetics Inc. in Chicago seeks a Business Development, Safety Consulting professional to identify and generate new business opportunities, build relationships with prospective clients, and drive revenue growth across safety consulting services.

This role reports to the Business Development Manager and collaborates with sales, marketing, and consulting teams to refine messaging, develop capability statements, and support proposals. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development or sales within safety consulting or professional services.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma required.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in safety consulting.
• Conduct outbound campaigns to generate opportunities and leads.
• Meet or exceed KPIs for opportunities created and revenue growth.
• Develop prospect lists using industry data and CRM.
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership to refine messaging.
• Prepare presentations and support proposal development.
• Track activities in the CRM and report pipeline.
• Represent the company at conferences and events.
• Support onboarding and service delivery across teams.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects.
• Provide competitive market insights to leadership.
