Precise Behavioral Inc is seeking a strategic Controller to scale financial operations for a fast-growing, PE-backed behavioral health platform. You will own the monthly close across multiple entities, oversee AP/AR, payroll, GL, and consolidations, and partner with operations and revenue cycle teams to drive visibility and cash flow.

The role emphasizes internal controls, KPI-driven reporting, and audit readiness across multi-state operations, with CPA/MACC and Sage Intacct experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting is required.
• CPA and/or MACC is strongly preferred.
• Must reside in the Los Angeles, CA area.
• Prior Controller or Assistant Controller experience in fast-growing healthcare.
• Experience with Sage Intacct is preferred.
• Healthcare revenue cycle and multi-entity operations knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close with speed, accuracy, and scalability.
• Build and manage accounting across multiple entities and states.
• Oversee AP/AR, Payroll, GL, reconciliations, accruals and journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Manage intercompany accounting and consolidation within PC/MSO structures.
• Collaborate with operations and revenue cycle teams to improve collections visibility and cash flow.
• Establish KPI-driven reporting and operational accountability.
• Coordinate audit processes with external auditors and prepare schedules.
• Improve financial controls and institutional-grade reporting standards.
